Cobra chain conveyors
CaReDi’s TRC model chain conveyor is suitable for transporting loose materials on a steep incline, with a medium-high flow rate.
The specially designed components that are used to assemble the machine, making it very strong and reliable, suitable for intensive and prolonged use. The (tow and idler) pulleys are flanged to the housings, and are usually equipped with plummer block at the tow and flanged at the idler. The housings are assembled with bolted parts to simplify construction and maintenance. Inclined housings are equipped with double bottom for the anti-return of the material. The idler pulley is equipped with a revolution sensor and a calibratable depollution system. The tow is fitted with an anti-clogging system and a deflector for complete discharge of the product and the elimination of any pollution.
The motor, applied to the tow pulley usually consists of a gearmotor with hollow shaft. In special cases the machine can be operated by a gearmotor with sprocket and chain transmission
The machine is completely configurable in terms of the material used to construct the housing (carbon steel or stainless steel) and the “K” or double “O” shape of chain blades (particularly well suited to steeply inclined conveyors) or the chain guide (wear-resistant steel or polyzene), in addition to the possibility of inserting a double bottom or specially designed gates for any intermediate discharges. All these configurations make the chain conveyor suitable for multiple uses while maintaining the reliability that defines it.
